Choose Story Missions, Dynamic Operations or Free Roam before you deploy. DMZ Orders are your main progression path. Infil is free on foot, or costs 5,000 to 100,000 DMZ Cash for a vehicle drop, a helicopter or a cargo plane jump.

MapWays to deploy
- Story Missions: narrative missions with a briefing and high-value rewards. You can replay them or pick one at random. Six are reported.
- Dynamic Operations: deploy straight into an Op to earn DMZ Cash and XP.
- Free Roam: no mission, just Hajin. Good for looting printer ingredients, hunting Wanted players and working on Orders.
Infil options (Dynamic Ops and Free Roam)
| Infil | Cost (DMZ Cash) | What you get |
| Ground | Free | On foot, random spot |
| Polaris Dagor A1 | 5,000 | Light vehicle air-dropped with you, random spot |
| LTV | 25,000 | Heavily armored vehicle air-dropped with you, random spot |
| Helicopter | 50,000 | Your squad flies in, one player pilots |
| Cargo Plane | 100,000 | You choose exactly where to drop |
Dynamic Ops
Pick an Op before infil, or find a Dynamic Ops phone in Hajin to start one in the field. Each completed Op pays DMZ XP and Cash plus a Supply Drop, and every Op you complete in the same deployment raises the drop's rarity: Common, then Uncommon, then Rare. The Hunt Operators Op sends you against a full rival squad.
Side Ops
Lower-risk tasks for XP and resources: find lost supply drops, repair trucks, climb radio towers to locate a Lieutenant, activate UAV Towers and capture SAM Sites.
DMZ Orders
Orders are grouped in pages and are the main way to progress. They teach the systems, tell the story and pay out resources, loot and cash. The Boss Board at the FOB unlocks after your second Order. Order list and chapter rewards below are reported, not yet complete.
Watch your kill count
The HUD tracks how many hostiles you've killed. If that meter fills, an enemy Hunt Squad comes after you and you are Marked for Death.
Lieutenants
- Buy intel on a Lieutenant at the Boss Board. It lasts one deployment. Lieutenant Hunt towers also point to the nearest one.
- They always drop their Dog Tag Case. Picking it up broadcasts your position, so exfil fast. Extracting with it advances the Boss Board.
- They may drop their signature weapon and a key to their own loot room.
Commanders
Commanders roam Hajin all the time and show on your Tac-Map when close. You can't buy intel on them. Many standard weapons barely hurt them. The first kill of each Commander pays DMZ Cash, and they drop valuable printer ingredients.
